I’m going to show you the exact campaign that took a small online jewelry store from barely breaking even to $15,427 in monthly profit — all from a consistent $500 ad spend.
No big brand. No huge email list. Just smart Google Ads + one killer landing page.
Let’s break it down step by step so you can copy what actually worked.
The Business Before We Started
- Product: Handmade minimalist jewelry ($38–$89 price range)
- Monthly revenue: ~$2,100 (mostly organic + a few Instagram shoutouts)
- Previous ad spend: $400–$600 scattered across Facebook → 1–2 sales per month
- Owner was ready to shut down paid ads forever
The 30-Day Turnaround Plan (What We Actually Did)
Step 1: We Stopped Chasing Vanity Metrics
Threw out “impressions” and “likes.” Focused only on profit per click.
We built a simple Google Sheet that calculated real profit after:
- Ad spend
- Product cost
- Shipping
- 3% payment processing
This became our North Star metric.

Step 2: Laser-Focused Keyword Strategy
We used SKAGs 2.0 (Single Keyword Ad Groups – updated for 2025):
- One exact-match keyword per ad group
- 3 headlines pinned for full control
- Broad match modifier negatives to block junk
Top-performing keywords (all long-tail):
- “minimalist gold initial necklace”
- “dainty 14k gold layered necklace”
- “personalized birthstone necklace gift”
Average CPC? $0.94 (yes, really).
Step 3: The $12,000/Month Landing Page
We sent all traffic to a dedicated page (not the homepage).
Page elements that made it convert at 18.7%:
- Hero image: Model wearing the exact necklace
- Headline: “Dainty Gold Initial Necklaces – Starting at $48 (Free Shipping)”
- 60-second trust video (real customer unboxing)
- 4.9-star reviews with photos
- “Add initials” customizer tool
- Countdown timer: “Mother’s Day Delivery Guaranteed – Order in next 11h 23m”
(Insert image: Full mobile mockup of the landing page – clean, fast-loading, high-converting)
Step 4: Smart Remarketing That Actually Works
We created 3 remarketing audiences:
- Viewed product but didn’t add to cart (7-day)
- Added to cart but abandoned (3-day)
- Past buyers (180-day) – upsell matching bracelets
Offer for cart abandoners: “Complete your order in the next 24 hours → Get a free jewelry polishing cloth ($12 value)”
Recovery rate: 41%
The Numbers After 30 Days (Real Screenshot Data)
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Monthly Spend | $512 |
| Total Orders | 378 |
| Average Order Value | $68 |
| Total Revenue | $25,704 |
| Product + Shipping Cost | $9,765 |
| Ad Spend | $512 |
| Net Profit | $15,427 |
| ROAS | 50.2x |

What We Learned (So You Don’t Waste Years Figuring This Out)
- Stop sending traffic to your homepage. Ever.
- One product = one landing page.
- Track profit, not revenue.
- Long-tail keywords + exact control = goldmine.
- Remarketing isn’t dead — being generic is.

P.S. Yes, the store owner cried when she saw the first $15K profit month. Happy to share her testimonial if you want proof.
